The Estimation of the Level of Ecological and Economic Security of International Business

The authors have developed the approach to the assessment of ecological and economic security of international business activity within the sustainable development concept in the article. This approach is based on the complex index of ecological and economic security evaluation formation. This index takes into account the value potential of the company for the conduct of foreign economic activity, a level of country risk in entering foreign market, a level of enterprise market opportunities, which is based on a comprehensive study of the "product – market – consumer", and also a level of environmental performance of foreign economic activity. The proposed matrix areas of economic security of foreign economic activity within the sustainable development concept involves the selection of five main areas of ecological and economic security and provides the possibility to visualize the importance of ecological and economic security for management decisions to minimize the environmental and economic risks.
