Scientific Approaches to Portfolio Investment and Innovative Projects in the context of Sustainable Development in the Region

The necessity of implementing the concept of sustainable development at the regional level, encourages the development of approaches to the formation of the portfolio of investment and innovative projects of “green” growth. The peculiarities of formation of the portfolio of investment and innovation projects, which is considered as an important factor of regional development, contributes to the integration of the Rio Convention into national policies of Ukraine. It was analyzed the existing economic criteria of project portfolio formation and it was completed by ecological indicator of the competitiveness of the project. It was proved the necessity of forming the portfolio, that will provide maximum value to the “green” growth of the regional economy. It was shown the features of portfolio assessment with by using of mathematical modelling. It was noted that the regional managers mastering of the methods of portfolio analysis and management increases the chances of implementation of strategic priorities for sustainable development in the region. It is proved that the process of forming the portfolio promotes the formation a transparent market of “green” business, which will maximize the competitiveness of the region
