The article defines the features of the business planning process as one of the main tools of ecological modernization of socio-economic systems for "green" growth in the region's economy, its principles and directions. It is proved that the main element of the business planning process is to coordinate the objectives of the strategic vision of regional development policy of "green" growth in the region. This research identifies the problem of the need to implement innovative projects for "green" economy by the following areas: modernization policy planning for increased demand for environmental goods and services (through the state support); modernization planning policies to promote "green" growth business (including public-private partnerships) A general scheme of the modeling process of business planning "green" growth at the regional level by components: planning the modernization policy of growth in demand for environmental goods and services in the market and the modernization of planning policies to encourage "green" business growth.
