Organizational and Economic Problems of the Sports Industry Transformation in Ukraine

The article describes the different models of sport in the world. The approaches and principles of state regulation of sports industry in different countries are given. The problems of transformation of the sports industry in Ukraine are investigated. A SWOT-analysis of sports sphere in Ukraine and options for transition to the new structure of the sports industry is conducted. Highlight goals, objectives, methods, and basic directions of reforming the sports sector in Ukraine: changes in the principles of sports financing and changing legislation in the field of sports.
