Theoretical and Methodical Foundations of the Process of Formation and Development of the Country's Economic Structure

The evolution of the basic concepts of the study of economic structure, its elements and approaches to dynamic changes analysis are researched in the article. Theoretical basis of definition such categories as «structuring of the economy», «structural changes» and «structural transformation of the economy». Reasons that cause structural changes in the economy are identified and structural changes that characterize any element of the economic structure are highlighted. Reasons and features of dynamic and cyclical fluctuations in the economy are determined, as well as internal and external factors that characterize them. Direction and force of impact of cyclical fluctuations in the economy to the transformation of its structure are considered in the article. The essence causes and functions of structural crises are researched. Contradictions of structural changes that lead to the emergence of structural crises are systematized. Key tasks of structural transformation of the economy, consisting in avoiding structural deformations, promoting efficient and competitive industries, restructuring of outdated and inefficient economic structure elements are formed. Formalization of the process of formation and development (structuring) of the structure of the economy is given with taking into consideration cyclical nature of economic development, which allow to investigate predictors of certain structural changes and form theoretical basis for forecasting future economic restructuring.
