Problems and prospects of implementation of environmental audit in the corporate sector

The article analyzes the domestic implementation experience of environmental audits on industrial corporate sector. Global approaches to the interpretation of the concept of environmental auditing are systematized. The main problems of the system ofenvironmental audit of joint stock companies in Ukraine are investigated, thus environmental and economic benefits and prospects for its implementation are singled out. Foreign experience is analyzed and efficiency of environmental audit in the business of corporate sector including the functioning features of the domestic industry is proved.
