The role of synergetic factors in development of socio-economic systems is shown in the story in artistic hyperbolized form. Uniqueness of wonderful social phenomenon – Krestovozdvizhensky (Crossworldly) Working Brotherhood founded by the thinker and landowner N.N. Neplyuev is exaggerated on the contrast between phantasmagoric and real. The Brotherhood surprised the world at the turn of the XIX and XX centuries with its social and economic successes.
