Problems of Teaching Courses in Economics at Ukrainian Universities

The paper explores the challenges of higher education modernization in Ukraine in the context of gaining relevant competences by the students of economics. Current changes, as well as all the previous ones, are launched under the state guidance. Teaching business and economics students is crucial for modern state educational policy in the country. The authors suggest ways to enhance students’ motivation for learning economics through implementing innovative educational technologies. They focus much attention on blended learning as an effective tool. Main advantages and problems of e-learning are considered. The article can be useful for teachers, educational officials, scientists, post-graduates, etc.
