The System of Formation and Realization of Priorities of the Regional Social and Economic Policy of Rural Development of Ukraine

The article presents the author's approach to understanding the essence of the concept of "rural development" and the modern features of its implementation. Determined the necessity to form a holistic system of formation and implementation of regional socio-economic policy of rural development. Described the author's vision of this system is provided with the following main components: purpose and tasks of the regional socio-economic policy, priority directions, implementation tools, expected results Particular attention is paid to the justification of the priorities of the regional socio-economic policy of rural development, which include: stimulating the development of social and productive infrastructure, promoting the production of organic and niche agricultural products, preserving and improving the labor potential of rural areas, developing international cooperation, promoting non-traditional for rural regions types of production and services. The tools of realization of certain priorities are considered, namely: strategic planning, public-private partnership, decentralization, investment activity, cooperation, financial support of small and medium-sized agricultural commodity producers, advisory services.
